Christmas Carol Music & Lyrics plays music and displays lyrics on your device. The app does not collect or transmit personal information to Excelltech.
About this policy
This policy applies to version 2.0 of Christmas Carol Music & Lyrics, also referred to as Christmas Carols or XmasCarols, published by Excelltech Inc. It describes the rebuilt paid app, not earlier versions or the separate Free edition.
On-device playback
Music, lyrics, and animated scenes are included in the app and work offline. You do not need an account or a connection to an Excelltech server. The app does not record audio or access your microphone, contacts, or location. It contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Your preferences
The app saves your favorites, last selected song and playback position, each song’s selected recording, chosen scene, lyric text size, and repeat mode locally on your device. Excelltech does not receive this information. The current playback queue, shuffle state, and sleep timer are held for the current session rather than restored after a fresh launch.
When updating from the original app on the same device, the app may read its saved song and scene selections to restore your choices. This happens locally; those selections are not sent to us.
System playback features
The app supplies song information and playback controls to iOS or iPadOS for system features such as the Lock Screen and Now Playing. If you choose AirPlay, playback is routed through Apple’s system features to your selected output device. These features are controlled by your device and do not send your listening history to Excelltech.
External links
You can choose to open links to recording credits and lyric sources. The destination websites follow their own privacy practices and may receive ordinary web request information. Opening these links is optional and is not required for offline listening.
Backups and deletion
Your device’s backup service may include the app’s local preferences according to your backup settings. You can change favorites and preferences in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; backups must be managed separately through your device or backup service.
Support communications
If you contact Excelltech, we receive the email address and information you choose to share and use them to respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for support. You can contact us to ask about or request deletion of your support correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations. Visiting our website may involve ordinary request information processed by our web host.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from users of any age. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us through a support request, contact us so we can address it.
Changes and contact
